About Hytera H-series radios
Hytera H-Series radios have a model code starting with HP. This series of DMR radios is newer than the I-Series and has been rebuilt from the ground up on a completely different technological platform, both in terms of its hardware and software architecture. The H-Series therefore offers more advanced features that better meet the needs of professionals.
About Hytera I-Series radios
The Hytera I-Series consists of the following model categories: AP (analog), BP (digital), BD (entry-level digital) and PD (professional digital).
AP & BP Series
Hytera AP or BP Series radios are designed for users requiring effective yet easy-to-use communications. he AP models are analog only while the BP models are full-fledged digital handheld DMR radios while supporting analog communication mode.
AP/BP radios are offered in two formats: with or without display/keypad. The display and keypad have been designed to maintain the ease of use, which is characteristic of these Hytera radio models.
These portable “Push-to-Talk” radios (or walkie-talkies) are ideal for restaurants, retail stores, hotels, nursing homes, warehouses, construction sites and small businesses. They support small to medium user groups.
BD Series
BD I-Series models are entry-level digital two-way radios (DMRs) that deliver value, reliability and performance to businesses where simple, easy operation is required.
TC Series
Hytera’s TC Series has been replaced by the BD I-Series models.
PD Series
The PD Series is a superior professional range of radios offering greater coverage and can be used in vehicles. These walkie-talkies comply with government transportation safety standards.
